The guitar so far
For solo fingerstyle guitar, Jerry has been exclusively playing a Petros Guitar since 2007.
This guitar, made by Bruce and Matt Petros (pronounced Pee – trose) from Kaukauna, WI is a perfect compliment to Jerry’s style of playing. You can hear this very guitar featured on Jerry’s recording Yossarian’s Dream.
As Jerry has delved deeper into altered tuning, specifically lower tunings, the idea of acquiring a second Petros guitar was given serious thought. After working out the design details, the construction of a new guitar was set in motion. The idea will be to dedicate this new guitar to lower tunings, thereby allowing Jerry to perform all of his tunes in concert.
