The SouthSide Big Band plays classic tunes from the big-band era (1935-45) as well as modern arrangements. Dancing is always encouraged. This particular gig at Marian Center is a community outreach event. Many of the residents at Marian Center grew up listening and dancing to this music, and SouthSide Big Band is thrilled to be able to give them another opportunity.
