About twice each year, the SouthSide Big Band performs for the residents of the Marian Center in Saint Paul. It’s hard to describe how appreciative these folks are to hear us play. After all, we play the music to which many of them grew up listening and dancing. One cool thing about SSBB is that the band has a lot of really old and not-so-common charts and these people recognize every one of them! These concerts make me really glad I play guitar.
